Parking and Transportation

Campus Parking

• Free parking is available in employee lots across campus (see the appropriate sections shown as gold/employee on the campus parking map) beginning at noon Friday, September 25, 2026 and extending through Sunday, September 27, 2026, excluding the Pay-to-Park garages and spots with reserved signage.
• Non-ticketed parking garages include Matthews Street Garage and Woods Street Garage, which are both near Game Day Shuttle Route stops that transport riders to Boko's Backyard (tailgate location) and UFCU Stadium.
• Reserved spots and ADA/handicapped spaces require valid permits at all times.
• Should you choose to park in a Pay-to-Park garage, you will be responsible for paying the fee. These Pay-to-Park garages are NOT part of the free parking during Family Weekend and validation is not provided. Pay-to-Park garages include Edward Gary Street Garage and the LBJ Student Center Garage.

Shuttle for Family Weekend Tailgate

• The Bobcat Football Game Day Shuttle is available on game day to transport fans to UFCU Stadium from three stops on campus--LBJ Student Center, San Jacinto Hall, and Edward Gary Parking Garage.
• The game day shuttle is free and available to all fans attending the game. Shuttles begin three hours before kick-off and continuing for one hour after the game concludes following the same route.
• Guests may re-board the shuttle to return to their parking location.
